Perhaps the most prevalent example is the widespread adoption of the Internet. In the early '90s, well under 5 percent of the global population was online.
But look at the explosion in global Internet users just 10 years later:
And this trend won't slow down. In Abundance, I wrote about the Rising Billion -- the 3 million people in developing countries who'll become connected to the Internet by 2020.
What will these people want? What will they purchase?
Trillions of dollars will be injected into the global economy from the Rising Billion alone.
We're living in an incredible time, and it's only getting better.
