At the Golden Globes on Sunday, Lena Dunham told Ryan Seacrest that she had deleted Twitter from her phone. “I check it occasionally, but it’s not the same codependence Twitter and I once shared," Dunham said, before later adding that she had tired of constant abuse. "There's a lot of people I love on Twitter, but unfortunately you can't read those without reading deranged neo-cons telling you you should be buried under a pile of rocks."
Dunham's not off Twitter completely. Her latest missive was a plug for the return of "Girls," which airs Sunday night on HBO.

UPDATE: While Dunham said she deleted Twitter from her phone, the actress did tweet from the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
