Just what the unemployed need: a work-finding professional telling them to buzz off.

Cleveland Job Bank founder Kelly Blazek is under fire for sending nasty rejection notes to job seekers, according to reports. The bitter messages came to light when one of the recipients, Diana Mekota, shared Blazek's responses on social media.

Here's an email Mekota says she received from Blazek:
Your humility lesson for the year from a 'professional'

"This was never a personal attack simply because I was turned down," Mekota told The Cleveland Plain Dealer. "More than anything, it was about the fact that this senior professional was treating young professionals like this, in a time when it's already difficult to find a job."

Here's another "humility lesson" Blazek allegedly gave a different job seeker:

As if Ohio's 7.2 percent unemployment rate in December wasn't daunting enough.

Blazek, voted "2013 Communicator of the Year" by the Cleveland Chapter of the the International Association of Business Communicators, sent apologies to Mekota and The Plain Dealer. She also linked to the apology on her Twitter, using the hashtag "letcitydown." (Her Twitter account had been deactivated at the time of this writing.)
